How To Enrol

This course will be suitable for most dogs, with the exception of those who are severely reactive or anxious. Essentials doesn't cover addressing behavioural issues like reactivity, anxiety or resource guarding; if your dog needs help in these areas please contact the office to determine the best training plan.

Course Costs

This course costs $275.00 with our pre-paid discount, or $300.00 at full price. To qualify for the discounted price course fees must be paid in full at least one business day before your course commences.

Beacon Essentials Course
For Puppies & Adult Dogs 16 Weeks of Age or Older - $275

Beacon Essentials is a six week obedience course with a flexible course structure designed to accommodate dogs of different skill levels. Whether you and your dog are brand new to the word of training, or would like to improve the skills you already have, this course will help take your training to the next level.

While most dogs are reasonably obedient in the home, many fail to behave in exciting or novel situations, like when visitors arrive or out at the park. Beacon Essentials is designed to teach you how to take the behaviours that your dog knows in some situations, and improve their skills so that they can behave in all situations.

While this course is suitable for owners who have already attended formal training with their dog at another school, no prior knowledge is required to attend. Please note that this course does not cover emotion based issues like reactivity, anxiety or resource guarding. Please contact us if your dog needs help in these areas.
