Board & Train Booking

Your dog must be booked to stay with AAA Pet Resort for the dates included in this board and train block; please do not proceed with this booking if you haven’t yet booked with them. Their website is: www.aaapetresort.com.au/dog-boarding

Board & Train Details

Please note that with the exception of very simple behaviours, we generally dedicate one four day block to the progression of one skill. This allows us to make the most of our time with your dog and progress the chosen skill significantly, rather than splitting our focus for subpar results.

Please briefly describe the skill you’d like us to work on during your dog’s stay. One of our trainers will contact you to confirm your booking and discuss the training goals for your dog in more depth.

Please describe your dog’s current stage of training with regards to your chosen skill. For example, is it something they have no experience with, something they can do at home but not around distractions etc.

Please describe any previous training techniques you’ve tried for the chosen skill, or write “new skill” if it’s something you haven’t tried to train before. Include whether the training is working, or if the skill is staying the same or getting worse.

Thank you for choosing to sign up for our Board & Train program! This service is beneficial for dogs of various ages and breeds, so long as they are relatively comfortable in a new environment. Board & Train on its own isn't designed to "fix" behavioural or training issues, but instead to help your dog make a big leap forward with their training or behavioural modification and build momentum that you can continue at home.

At the end of your dog's stay, we will provide you with the information you need to continue the training, and all Board & Train clients receive lifetime phone and email support. Programs of two weeks or more will receive a free private lesson as part of your package.

We very strongly recommend continuing with either group classes or private training after your dog has finished their Board & Train program. While Board & Train allows us to make fantastic progress, dogs are very contextual and it's very important that we train with YOU as well as your dog to ensure lasting results.
