Is the Intake Consultation compulsory?
If we already know you and your dog through our group training classes or if your training goals are very straightforward we may be able to skip the intake consultation; please contact us if you think this may apply to you. We can also swap intake consultations into practical sessions on the spot if needed.
How much do private training programs cost?
Our private training programs vary in length and cost; if you'd like an estimate before getting started with the intake consultation please CONTACT US to discuss your dog and your training goals.
What is an Intake Consultation?
If you're new to Beacon we'll start your training program off with an Intake Consultation; a one hour session where we get to know you and your dog, set some goals together, and get started designed a training program. In this lesson we'll also give you advice for managing your dog's behaviour while training is in progress and get you and your dog started with some foundation training skills tailored to your goals.

Our private training lessons can be held either in your own home, or out at a public location like a park.
Each lesson goes for one hour.
Appointments are available during the day on weekdays, or we offer after hours appointments with a $25 surcharge on weekday evenings.
For most programs we recommend one lesson per week, or we can adjust your schedule to whatever frequency suits best for you.
You're welcome to bring the whole family to your sessions, and we also provide homework sheets so anyone unable to attend can catch up.
